Battery's Best Friend

Thanks to the new Battery's Best Friend architecture, the ChargeMaster Plus is capable of charging batteries of various chemistries, sizes, and voltages. All batteries are charged with the fast and safe 3-stage+ charging method. Other exclusive features include:

• Recovery mode: allows automatic recovery of even deeply discharged batteries.
• Multivoltage: allows charging 12V starter batteries in a 24V system, without additional components (for 24V models only).
• Priority Charge: Allows redirecting available power to the lowest charged battery for a faster charging process.
• Smart Input: Allows charging of all three batteries from a single alternator for uninterrupted charging anywhere.

Global load

The ChargeMaster Plus supports worldwide AC voltages and frequencies. Resistant to large voltage fluctuations and high temperatures, it offers uninterrupted operation in demanding environments. For marine and mobile markets, the ChargeMaster Plus is CE, ABYC, UL, SAE, CEC/DOE, and RCM/C-Tick certified.

System Simplicity

Nowadays, equipment needs to be intuitive. The ChargeMaster Plus displays the charging status of its outputs in an understandable manner. Robust and ergonomic connections save installation time. An integrated VSR (Voltage Sensing Relay) eliminates the need for additional components and ensures alternator energy is channeled to the batteries.

Powerful communications thanks to integration with CZone

In modern applications, all electrical components work together. The CAN protocol-based MasterBus allows the ChargeMaster Plus to communicate with various displays, shunts, and power systems, including communication standards like CZone®, NMEA 2000, and CANopen (via additional interfaces).

Models with the CZone add-on are compatible not only with MasterBus but also with CZone communication systems and NMEA 2000, without the need for additional interfaces. The ChargeMasters Plus series can be configured with MasterBus but also supports a CZone configuration file like any other CZone device. Other communication standards such as ModBus, CANopen, LinBus, etc. are supported through additional interfaces.

This wide range of communication interfaces makes ChargeMaster Plus ideal for system integration. Furthermore, ChargeMaster Plus can function as a power supply for sensitive communication equipment, or during the construction phase of a vessel.
