The TE-5K-MD pump has pumped acetic acid, citric acid, ethylene glycol, formaldehyde, hydrochloric acid (muriatic), hydrofluoric acid, hydrogen peroxide, nitric acid, phosphoric acid, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, sodium hypochlorite, sulfuric acid, fresh water, saltwater, deionized water, and many other chemicals. The TE-5K-MD may have been modified to handle these chemicals. This pump might require modification to pump liquids with elevated densities, viscosities, or temperatures different from ambient water. The inlet connection is 1" FPT and the outlet connection is 1/2" MPT. Two standard motors are available. The first is a 1/4 HP, totally enclosed fan cooled, 60 HZ, 115/230V and 50 HZ, 110/220V, 1-phase motor. The second is a 1/4 HP, totally enclosed fan cooled, 60 HZ, 230/460V and 50 HZ, 190/380V, IEC, 3-phase motor. Performance will vary with different frequency options. The maximum internal pressure the pump can withstand is 75 PSI, and the maximum liquid temperature is 200°F or 93°C.
